Scottish Canals (Claypits)

As part of the ongoing redevelopment of Scottish canals the old claypits at Hamiltonhill in Glasgow has been landscaped and cultivated into a nature reserve with a magnificent viewpoint looking over the south and west of the city. With this in mind they needed a visual guide to help direct the viewer to recognisable buildings and points of interest. The original drawing is over 4 metres in length but reduced to 650 mm for the display panel.
