Named for obvious reasons due to it’s shape it was designed by Daniel Burnham who was responsible in large for redesigning Chicago in the late 1800s. Many Scots architects were instrumental in the rebuild to which explains in part the similarity to Glasgow’s city centre layout and architecture. Chicago on the Clyde.
