Most people bought a dog in lockdown like us. Jess and Jeff decided to sell their house in the Cairngorms, up sticks, buy an old village shop just north of Dumfries and open a small batch distillery.
The name? Jess is Irish and Jeff Scottish. It’s a combination of Irish and Scottish giants Fionn mac Cumhaill and Benandonner who fought across the Irish sea creating the Giants Causeway.
It sounds like a whisky to me and they already have a story to tell. Genius.
